Move In Essentials

When a veteran moves from a shelter or transitional housing into a permanent residence they often only bring the clothes on their backs and the items they carried on the streets. They lack the basic essentials needed to setup their new residence. Items we take for granted such as toilet paper, cleaning supplies, basic hygiene products and more are needed.

The Solution

The Move-In-Essential Program provides to these veterans and their families the basics needed. Collection drives for needed items are made by houses of worship, businesses, youth groups and other organizations that are then delivered to a VA facility for distribution to qualified veterans and their families. It couldn't be easier!

What are they?

Move-In-Essentials can include virtually any household item that you can think of. Paper towels, personal hygiene products, bath towels, cleaning supplies and more.  Working with Veterans Administration caseworkers we have come up with a list of what are the most needed items a Veteran Exiting Homelessness can use.
